Marius Park Pedersen er prosjektleder i det frivillige prosjektet Holmlia lokalhistorie, som har til formål å samle, ivareta og formidle Holmlias lokalhistorie, samt beskytte lokale kulturminner. Han har skrevet flere bøker for både barn og voksne, arrangert guidede turer, holdt foredrag og formidlet lokalhistorie på ulike arrangementer. I tillegg har han bidratt med ideer og stoff til nærmiljøprosjekter i barnehager og skoler på Holmlia.
For å kunne formidle lokalhistorie gjennom både trykte og digitale medier, og utgi egne bøker og hefter, startet han Park Forlag. Forlaget ivaretar både det trykte og digitale formatet, slik at lokalhistorien kan gjøres tilgjengelig for et bredt publikum. Pedersen fikk tildelt bydelens kulturpris i 2020 for sitt arbeid med Holmlias lokalhistorie. Marius Park Pedersen is the project leader of the voluntary initiative Holmlia Local History, which aims to collect, preserve and communicate the local history of Holmlia, as well as protect local cultural heritage. He has written several books for both children and adults, organised guided walks, given talks and shared local history at various events. He has also contributed ideas and material to community projects in nurseries and schools in Holmlia. To communicate local history through both print and digital media, and to publish his own books and booklets, he founded Park Forlag. The publishing house embraces both printed and digital formats, helping to make local history accessible to a wider audience. Pedersen was awarded the district's Cultural Prize in 2020 for his work with Holmlia's local history. |
